A child’s education should be decided by the parents, not the state. Parents should have the authority to decide which education best suits the needs of their children, whether that be public, private, or charter school. The money should follow the child, not the school system. By allowing parents the choice of education, it will breed competition which will improve our education system and help children recover after a year and a half of failed online learning.
Each student has a unique path in their education. Some will thrive in advanced classes while others need extra help to fill in the gaps. A one size all solution is not a solution. It is a terrible policy for our children and as your representative I will fight to protect advanced education in our schools.
